Rupa is a passionate and effective facilitator. Her training style is inclusive, participative and fun. She uses the principles of adult learning to make her workshops interactive, engaging and effective for the adult audience.
She strongly believes in the Confucian saying, "tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand." So she creates a fun learning environment, with plenty of laughter and respect for the learner's abilities which fosters an effective experiential learning environment. Each participant is encouraged to directly involve himself or herself in the experience, in order that he/she gain a better understanding of the new knowledge and retain the information for a longer time.
Rupa enjoys designing the content for the workshops as well as delivering it. She has over 11 years of industry experience and has been conducting training for 6 years. She specializes in training on Communication and Leadership for junior to mid management level. Her ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops have encouraged many a new as well as experienced trainer to improve his/her own training methods and become more effective in designing content as well as in delivering it.
Rupa believes that our youth can contribute more to society and the workforce if it has life skills along with education. Her belief that our youth is educated but not necessarily employable has resulted in her working closely with college students to bridge this gap with workshops ranging from language training, GD and Interview skills to grooming and presentation skills.
Rupa has a Masters in Management Studies, in Marketing, from Welingkar Institute of Management and has been associated with organizations such as SOTC, HongkongBank, eserve and apnaloan. She is also a certified ‘Coaching Professional’ and a student of Transactional Analysis.
